1. The Promoter
1.1 The promoter is MF Food & Beverage Limited, incorporated and registered in England and Wales with company number 13162828, whose registered office is at 124 City Road, London, England, EC1V 2NX. The brand trades as XOXO Soda in the United Kingdom (referred to throughout as “the Brand”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
1.2 Any questions, complaints or correspondence relating to this competition should be directed to hello@drinkxoxo.com.
2. The Competition
2.1 The name of this competition is Find the Face of XOXO (the “Competition”).
2.2 The Competition is a free-to-enter prize competition. No purchase is necessary to enter. The winner is chosen by a judging panel on the quality of their entry, as set out in clause 6, and not by random draw.
2.3 The Competition is run in connection with Meta Festival 2026 and is promoted through the Meta Festival event communications and the social media channels of the Brand.
3. How to Enter
3.1 The Competition opens at 08:30 (BST) on Wednesday 7 October 2026 (the “Opening Date”) and closes at 23:59 (BST) on Friday 9 October 2026 (the “Closing Date”). Entries made after the Closing Date will be disqualified.
3.2 To enter, you must post original content on your public Instagram or TikTok account that: (a) was created at or about Meta Festival 2026; (b) features an XOXO Soda can; and (c) tags @xoxo.soda.
3.3 Your entry must stay public until the Announcement Date. Instagram Stories are accepted only if they are still viewable when judging takes place, for example if saved to a Highlight.
3.4 No purchase is necessary. XOXO Soda cans are being given to guests free of charge at the XOXO activations at Meta Festival.
3.5 There is a limit of one entrant per person. You may post more than once, but you will be treated as a single entrant and your strongest entry will be judged. Entries must be made by an individual in their own name. Entries on behalf of another person, and joint or group entries, will not be accepted.
3.6 Your entry must not contain anything offensive, defamatory, discriminatory or unlawful. You are responsible for making sure your entry follows the rules of the platform it is posted on, the Meta Festival event and venue rules, and the law that applies to your content, including any rules on disclosing promotional content.
3.7 We will not accept entries that are: wholly generated by artificial intelligence; submitted in bulk or by automated means; entered by third parties; not your own original work; altered, forged or tampered with; or incomplete.
3.8 We will not accept responsibility for entries that are not successfully completed, that we are unable to view, or that are lost, delayed or removed, regardless of cause.
3.9 By entering, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
4. Eligibility
4.1 The Competition is open to individuals who: (a) are aged 18 years or over at the date of entry; (b) are resident in the United Kingdom; (c) attend Meta Festival 2026 at King’s Cross, London on Wednesday 7 October 2026 as a creator guest; and (d) have a public Instagram or TikTok account.
4.2 The Competition is not open to: (a) employees of MF Food & Beverage Limited; (b) employees of Meta group companies, or of our agents, distributors or suppliers, who are professionally connected with the Competition, our activations or Meta Festival; or (c) members of the immediate family or household of any person in (a) or (b).
4.3 By entering, you confirm that you are eligible to enter and, if successful, eligible to claim the prize. We may ask for proof of eligibility at any stage, including by confirming your attendance with the Meta Festival team.
4.4 We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant whose conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the Competition.
5. The Prize
5.1 There is one prize. The prize is the opportunity to be the face of XOXO Soda’s Black Friday 2026 campaign (the “Campaign”). It includes: (a) a content shoot with the Brand in the United Kingdom in early November 2026, on a date agreed with the winner; (b) the winner featuring in the Campaign’s paid and organic social advertising and on the Brand’s Black Friday landing page; and (c) Fee, travel expenses and/or product is included.
5.2 The prize is non-transferable and non-negotiable. No cash alternative is available.
5.3 We reserve the right to substitute the prize with a prize of equal or greater value, or to change the timing, format or channels of the Campaign, if circumstances beyond our control make it necessary to do so.
5.4 Before the campaign kick off, the winner must sign a short agreement with us (the “Prize Agreement”). It will cover the winner’s appearance in the Campaign, a licence for us to use the winner’s name, image, voice and Campaign content in the Campaign, and the usage period. If the winner does not sign the Prize Agreement, the prize may be forfeited and offered to the reserve winner.
5.5 The winner must be available to shoot in early November 2026. Except as set out in clause 5.1, we are not responsible for the winner’s travel, accommodation or other costs.
5.6 The prize may not be claimed by a third party on the winner’s behalf.
5.7 We do not accept responsibility if you are unable to take up the prize for any reason, nor will we be responsible for any tax or similar charge levied on the value of the prize.
6. Judging, Winner Selection and Notification
6.1 After the Closing Date, a panel from the Brand’s marketing team will review all valid entries and select one winner and one reserve winner. Entries will be judged on creativity, originality, quality of content and fit with the XOXO brand. Follower numbers will not be taken into account.
6.2 Judging will take place on or around Monday 12 October 2026 and the winner will be announced on or around Friday 16 October 2026 (the “Announcement Date”).
6.3 The decision of the judging panel is final. No correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
6.4 We will contact the winner through the account used to enter (by direct message or comment) and/or through the Meta Festival team, as soon as practicable after judging.
6.5 The winner must respond to confirm acceptance of the prize within 48 hours of being contacted. Failure to respond within this period may result in the prize being forfeited and offered to the reserve winner.
6.6 If a winner is found to be ineligible or cannot be contacted, we reserve the right to select a replacement from the remaining valid entries.
7. Publication of the Winner
7.1 We will announce the winner publicly on the Brand’s social media channels, naming the winner by first name and social media handle.
7.2 By entering the Competition, you agree to your first name and social media handle being used for this purpose if you win. The winner’s further appearance in the Campaign is covered by clause 5.
8. Data Protection
8.1 If you enter, we will collect your social media handle and the content of your entry. If you win, we will also collect your name and contact details. We will process your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at https://drinkxoxo.com/policies/privacy-policy, and all applicable data protection law, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
8.2 Entering the Competition does not sign you up to marketing emails. We will use your details only to run the Competition, which includes contacting you if you win and confirming your attendance with the Meta Festival team. We will not contact entrants for any other purpose without their consent.
8.3 We will retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to administer the Competition, fulfil the prize and meet our legal obligations.
8.4 You have the right to access, rectify, erase or restrict the processing of your personal data at any time, and to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at hello@drinkxoxo.com.
9. Intellectual Property
9.1 You keep all intellectual property rights in your entry.
9.2 You confirm that your entry is your own original work, that you have the rights to everything in it (including any music) and the permission of anyone who can be identified in it, and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights.
9.3 By entering, you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to view, share and repost your entry on the Brand’s own social media channels, crediting your account. We will remove a repost on reasonable request. Any other use of your content, including in paid advertising, will need your separate written agreement. The winner’s licence under clause 5.4 is separate.
10. Limitation of Liability
10.1 Insofar as permitted by applicable law, we, our agents and distributors will not be responsible or liable to compensate any winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death arising from taking up the prize, except where caused by our negligence or that of our employees, agents or distributors. Your statutory rights are not affected.
10.2 We accept no responsibility for any technical failures, network issues or other circumstances beyond our control that affect the ability of participants to submit a valid entry.
11. General
11.1 We reserve the right to hold void, suspend, cancel or amend this Competition at any time if it becomes necessary to do so, including in circumstances beyond our control.
11.2 If there is reason to believe that a participant has breached these terms and conditions, we may at our sole discretion disqualify that participant from the Competition.
11.3 The Competition is run by us in connection with Meta Festival 2026. It is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram or TikTok, and you release them from any liability in connection with it. Meta, as the organiser of Meta Festival, is not the promoter of the Competition and is not responsible for it.
11.4 These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute arising in connection with the Competition is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, this does not affect any right you have to bring proceedings in the courts there.
11.5 Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to, or shall be deemed to, establish any partnership or joint venture between the promoter and any participant.
